Tree Fruit

Scionwood

Orders accepted from November through January. Scionwood for grafting is available to the general public by mail order. The price list/order form is updated annually, with the current list updated each November. The wood is taken from trees in our test plots of those varieties not patented or otherwise restricted from propagation. Amount of scionwood available and varieties included varies from year to year, and mail orders are filled in the order they are received. Scionwood is also for sale at the station during the Spring Field Day.

The Fruit Horticulture program has two primary research missions: variety evaluation and cultural improvements in tree fruit production. The results of our work are made available to the public through workshops, seminars, publications, bulletins, field days and on the internet.
