Workshop – Basic Wine Making: Maritime Grape Emphasis, Mount Vernon, WA. This is your opportunity to learn about making wine and what it takes to start a winery in Washington State. We will cover the basics of winemaking in the morning, the costs, the equipment, wine microorganisms, and what to look for in your grapes. The afternoon will focus on winemaking techniques for Westside grapes including deacidification, sparkling wine production, and blending. Hear from Washington winemakers and wine educators!
